If you’re weighing up getting cards graded in the UK, the first question is usually the simplest: what does it actually cost? Here’s a clear breakdown – no hidden upcharges – plus how that stacks up against the other UK options, with sources so you can check it yourself.
CALIBRE pricing
- Standard grading – £25 per card. A full measurement-based grade and report, with a 7-day turnaround from when we receive your card.
- Tracked return postage – free on every order, every card covered (not per card).
It’s one flat price per card, with no minimum order. We don’t charge more for holos, textured foils or high-value cards – the same pipeline runs on every card, so the fee is the same.
How UK grading prices compare
Prices checked 2 October 2026, taken from each company’s own published pricing page. Some of these are introductory or members-only rates rather than the standard price – we’ve flagged those.

We’re not the cheapest on paper, and we’d rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. What the table doesn’t show: most of these quotes assume you’re sending enough cards to hit a minimum order, and none of them publish what you’ll pay to get your cards back. Our price is the same whether you send one card or fifty, it includes insured tracked return postage, and the 7 days starts when your card lands with us – not from some point further down a queue.
PSA, TAG and Beckett aren’t in the table above because their cheap tiers keep opening and closing with the backlog – see our live tracker of what’s actually open right now before you assume a price you’ve seen quoted is still valid.
If you want the bigger picture – not just price, but how different graders actually arrive at a grade – see CALIBRE vs the market.
What about postage to us?
You arrange postage to send your cards in. We recommend a tracked, insured service, so you have proof of postage. See our guide to packaging and sending your cards.
How does that compare to grading overseas?
Grading with an overseas service means paying in dollars, paying for international postage both ways, and waiting weeks while your cards cross the Atlantic twice. Grading domestically in the UK avoids the customs, the currency conversion and the long wait. We cover this in our UK vs US grading guide.
Is it worth it?
Grading makes most sense when it protects or proves value: a card you want to sell, insure, or keep long-term in proven condition. A graded card is sealed in a tamper-evident slab with a verifiable certificate, which gives buyers confidence and you a permanent record of condition.
