This page explains the cookies and similar storage (such as your browser's local storage) that CALIBRE uses, why, and how you can manage your choices. We only use non-essential cookies — analytics — with your consent.
These are first-party items stored in your browser to make the site work. They are exempt from consent under UK law (PECR). We never use them to track you across other sites.
| Name | Purpose | Stored |
|---|---|---|
calibre_cookie_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we don't ask again. | Local storage |
calibre_invite | Remembers your invitation so your early access works as you browse. | Local storage |
If you choose Accept, we load Google
Analytics (property G-5BLYPGLF0Q) to understand
how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets first-party cookies
(e.g. _ga, _ga_*) and we enable IP
anonymisation. If you choose Reject, Google Analytics
is never loaded and these cookies are never set.
When you pay, you're taken to Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain for payment processing and fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
You can change your decision at any time:
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Note that clearing the strictly-necessary items above may sign you out or require you to re-open your invitation link.
