We measure Lorcana cards the same way we measure Pokémon cards - and check a couple of things Lorcana collectors ask about most.

Why Lorcana centering gets checked differently

Lorcana's card design sits the inner art frame slightly off-centre top-to-bottom on purpose - it's part of how the cards are printed, not a cutting fault. Scoring a Lorcana card's top-to-bottom split the same way we score a Pokémon card would unfairly mark down cards that are actually fine. So for Lorcana, we measure and score the left-to-right centering, which does behave like a normal cut, rather than judging the card on an axis that's asymmetric by design.

What we check

• Left-to-right centering, corners, edges and surface - over 800 measurements per card
• Enchanted, foil and regular finishes all go through the same process
• Every card checked by hand for authenticity, under calibrated lighting
• Sealed in a numbered case, with a full report published to our public Registry
