1. About us & these terms

CALIBRE is a trading name of Hivecore Ltd ("CALIBRE", "we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales (company number 15863097), registered office 58 Masons Bridge Road, Redhill, RH1 5LE. These terms govern your use of our website and grading service. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our service

CALIBRE grades trading cards using physical measurement (centering, corners, edges, surface, and authentication checks) and returns each card in a tamper-evident slab with a digital grading report. A grade is our professional, measurement-based assessment of condition. It is not a guarantee of authenticity beyond the checks performed, nor a statement, prediction, or guarantee of a card's market or resale value.

3. Availability & capacity

Grading is open to all customers. We limit the number of cards we accept at a time to protect turnaround times, so ordering may be temporarily unavailable when that capacity is reached. We may limit, suspend, or withdraw the service at our discretion.

4. Orders & acceptance

• An order is an offer to purchase. A contract forms when we confirm your order and/or take payment.
• Prices are shown per card on our site in GBP and may change, but changes won't affect orders already placed.
• Payment is taken securely via Stripe at checkout. We may decline or cancel an order (e.g. suspected fraud, prohibited items, or pricing error), refunding any sum paid.

5. Sending your cards to us

• You arrange and pay for postage to send your cards to us. We recommend a tracked, insured service; we confirm the delivery address with your order.
• Tracked, insured return postage is charged once per order at checkout and covers the return leg only.
• You must pack cards appropriately (e.g. semi-rigid holders inside a padded mailer). Loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging is your responsibility.
• Until a parcel is received and logged at our facility, it remains at the carrier's/your risk subject to the carrier's cover.

6. Your responsibilities & warranties

By submitting cards you confirm that you own them or are authorised to submit them, that they are not stolen, and that you do not knowingly submit counterfeit cards. We may refuse to grade, and may report, items we reasonably believe to be stolen or counterfeit.

7. Turnaround times

Stated turnaround times (e.g. 72-hour or 24-hour) are targets measured from receipt at our facility and are estimates, not guarantees. They may be affected by volume, card condition, or factors outside our control.

8. Care of your cards & insurance

While in our care, every card is insured up to £5,000 (see the Returns & Refunds policy for limits and how claims work). For cards worth more than £5,000, contact us before posting so we can arrange additional cover.

9. Cancellations & refunds

Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.

10. Liability

• We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
• Subject to the above, our total liability for any affected card is limited to £5,000 (or the card's fair market value if lower), and our liability for an order is limited as set out in the Returns policy.
• We are not liable for a card's market value, future grade by another service, or losses that are not a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach.

11. Intellectual property

The website, grading reports, slab design, and CALIBRE branding are our intellectual property. You receive a personal licence to use the report for your own card; you may share it but not misrepresent or alter it.

12. Data protection

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
